A military veteran is on a mission to both inspire patriotism, and show his support for police officers.
Thank the Police TourMeet Billy Richards. From Long Island, NY, he has been traveling the nation over the past two weeks from Washington, D.C. to San Diego, California on what he has dubbed, “Thank the Police Tour.” He stopped in 30 cities, running in the area carrying the American Flag, to help inspire patriotism and support for Law Enforcement. At the end of his runs, he folds the flag that he ran with and presents it, along with a thank you note to the local police department, as a thank you for their service and sacrifice. We at the IMPD would like to acknowledge Billy Richards for his kind gesture and express our gratitude through this short video. Like and share so that others can see this military veteran taking time to inspire others and thank those who serve their community! Thank you again Billy!
